If there is outright rules being broken when they pull up your games thats very well possible for serious infractions. Some companies will do a 2 strike for same/similar offenses.
- @THE_DREADED_DEAD cool so what you said first "Stop doing whatever it is that got you suspended and you'll have nothing to worry about." is not true, and EA knows it

@rogo2020EA will inform you that you have been suspended and give you exact words used in coms or typed out. They also inform you to not let it happen again.
It will read as stated.
We want to notify you that we found your EA account to be in violation of our rules and conduct.
While reviewing your account we indenified the following violation.
Apex Legends
Harassment
It then copy and pastes the exact logs they have and the exact time it was said.
Being part of the gaming community should be positive, fun, fair, and safe for all. This means that we take any breaches of our rules and conduct, including toxic behavior, very seriously. We outline our commitment to this in our positive play/charter.
For this violation, we have suspended your account for 72 hours, effective immediately.
so this is a clear indication to not let this happen again. Its common since if your banned for harassment then doing it again can lead to a ban as your are repeat offender pretty much.
- @E9ine_AC dude, i know those mails 😉 <----
What im saying, is that the EA customer experience staff, seems to make a blind eye about the Date of the events, and, AFTER the first suspension, they will actually BAN your account, for events that happened BEFORE the first suspension, making this part:
"so this is a clear indication to not let this happen again"
Totally irrelevant. - E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@rogo2020 Well no. Because receiving the first email it can take time to be seen once they find more then its like ok this guy is just toxic look how many more are coming in now. Why I always tell people dont engage or stoop down to anothers level and get yourself in trouble verse just you reporting them and you walking away smiling.
I at times get dogged to crap and all i do is laugh just thinking in my head ohhh you should not of said that one. Cause in the end I know i won the battle by not speaking they lost the battle because they spoke.
It is a indication. Because then they can sit back and think. Oh crap i did this a lot more times then this once. So they know the out come may not weigh in their favor. Cool, so this "so this is a clear indication to not let this happen again." Is a lie, and you, and EA knows it, whats the problem with stop lying?
The guy who opened this post, is asking how many strikes he can get after the first suspension, the answer is:
"It doesnt matter, if you repeated your fault enough times in the past you are already screwed even if you are currently temporarily suspended."
And also i would add:
"Even after your suspension ends, wait several months before spending any money or whatever currency you have in our games, because theres still a chance that you will be permanently banned".
- @E9ine_AC Hey i have a question. If i got banned 2 times do i have to wait a week or a month for my account to get unbanned? Or am i permanently banned? Like do you know how many times you have to get banned before it becomes a permanent ban?
I got banned once, today I had a fight with a random and idk if he reported me, how does ea react to it, like do they scan the chat or react to a person's report. It was just once and idk what's the limit, if someone knows pls help...
- dSKyNafinchin4 years agoHero (Retired)@kingjjj If you were reported for communications, I believe EA pulls the internal chat logs for voice and text and looks at what transpired. If you said or typed something that violates ToS, and you were reported, there is a decent chance you will see an action taken against your account. It's always best to just report people, and not to engage with them (muting them is usually best). Keep a level head, and don't stoop to their level, as you can get banned as well. As to your original question, I believe they do use a "strike" system for lesser transgressions, but I don't know for sure, as I've never been banned from a video game, including Apex

I would also like to know this?

One thing is for sure, voice chat in Apex Legends is not moderated or enforced, it’s a free for all. I have reported on many occasions toxic players utilizing voice chat, and the emails I get back from EA is that they reviewed my report and didn’t take action.
The system is flawed, hence abused heavily, and this is known from the playerbase.
EA suggest that you enable voice to text, which is the only workaround to reporting voice chat, even they, EA, insinuate a bad reporting system by asking you to take extra measures.
To answer the OP, 3 strike is all you get, and unlike the Xbox system which erases strikes after a period of good behavior, EA strikes don’t go away, ever.
Seeing as this thread is a bit old, I'll be locking it down. You're welcome to create a new thread about this topic if you choose to.
