Re: R99 little OP

@E9ine_AC Oh come on man we all know it's in a short range class. The game does have classes for guns. Just go into the guns and it shows it.

@hayhor it still doesn't mean much, you can shoot at any distance with any of them. Snipers are meant to be long-range weapons, but there's nothing stopping you from using them at point blank range.

@hayhor I get that. But those are completely wrong and we as players are complete proof of this.

@AcidicSoda44031 I understand this but using a sniper up close is a pretty skilled thing. An r99 spraying from a long way isn't really the way the gun is supposed to be used.

@hayhorYet there are undetectable no recoil scripts that permeate it's use well outside it's usable range under the guise of "skillz".

@AcidicSoda44031  I get what you mean with your point, but weapons do have an intended effective range in most shooters for a reason making fall off damage a completely valid suggestion.

Bullets gradually slow as they travel so a smg would naturally have falloff damage, a sniper round however wouldn't start off slow and speed up as it travelled....ergo it couldn't do less damage when used outside of its intended range. so it makes much more sense for a sniper to be possible to be used up close than a smg being used over long range.

I'm completely for falloff damage being introduced personally, but I wouldn't to see it be implemented too drastically if it were ever to actually happen.
