@OldTreeCreeperon the one hand we could argue about the "free will / choice" here and how BR team games where solo play is not available should be played. E.g., in my opinion, there is no room for such discussion in public games - players who don't like/want to play in team and make it work so to say must play no fill. Ranked... well it is what it is.

Plus I am 100% sure this style, approach is not viable in higher ranked lobbies - in this clip I can clearly see multiple mistakes done by opponents that would not happen in higher tier games and you would have a higher chance of losing e.g. Bloodhound did not scan, Pathfinder seemed to be on the other side of the fence instead of the high ground on the building, octain didn't use jumpad or stim to dodge the fight etc.

As I always say - 9 out of 10 times the winning team will have 3 players on their team no matter the skill level, because in Apex more often than not a good low skill team will outperform 1 sometimes even 2 Master/Predator level players.

Long story short - can't compliment on your approach of distancing from people and seeing that as a solution as it is a short-term/result limiting one.

@Eshshshss I've played thousands of games. It took a long while to realise that both in ranked and pubs I was getting pulled into a hot drop situation that both I and my fellow hot droppers had no hope of exiting. That imo is irrational. I press the solo button and the jm had a choice! If u hot drop or go somewhere I am uninterested in going, then good luck, otherwise I will join you. I have done a reasonable amount of damage and have a reasonable amount of kills recorded. The solo button is there so it must be intentional by the developer, not as you suggest there for no reason, nor how you think other players should play the game. I am free to play the game as I choose. 

What you did not allow for in the above video is that my team metes were killed and I was unable to get to their banners. 

This style as you call it is only when I go solo. It is not my intention to get into higher lobbies, I want to enjoy the game. I got to diamond once and never again. It was very hard work and not what I would call fun. 

As I mentioned, however I choose to play, I will not let a mike numpty ruin my evening with their toxic nonsence, which from this forums posts I understand is all too prevalent.

My opponents mistakes is an interesting observation. What you don't know is I had been in this exact end circle before and knew the terrain intimately, so regardless I had an advantage. Also wraiths hit box was smaller. 😃 I'm not looking for compliments as I enjoyed the game.

@Cheese9Man I was lucky, it was so intense I nearly had a heart attack. But as mentioned above I had been in this exact finishing circle before. 😃

@Eshshshss @OldTreeCreeper If Apex can implement a deranking system next season I would be happy staying in Gold lobbies. It’s the perfect balance of chill without 3/4 of the lobby dying before round 1 ends 😛 

Going through plat lobbies just to maintain my diamond rank wasn’t worth it anymore. LOL.

@Eshshshss you sound like someone who has a wired connection, a pc at a billion fps, can hear and is under 50! 😛

Why would I want to play bots??? or slice through lobbies even faster??? I don't understand your comment.

I enjoy outwitting the gung ho crew and playing at my own pace. 😉

@Cheese9Man yes, I just go through gold now to plat IV for fun and leave it at that. I have no intention of losing plat/diamond players their hard won points.
