Gifting should be back up and running normally at this point, but if you run into any issues with it after the start of the season definitely let us know here.

It doesn’t work for me. I’ve just turned on the setting and reset my game a few times, and still doesn’t let me gift 

I like the evo and crafter changes but the solo queue nightmare experience is still worse than ever.  Until they do something . . . anything . . . about cheaters and put in a matchmaking system that is more friendly to newer or lesser skilled players, this game will continue to be the most infuriating game to play solo . . . ever.  Why I continue to play when MM has been this bad for so long, I really don't know.  I'm pretty close to putting it on the shelf for the rest of the season and maybe not ever coming back. 

UPDATE:  I stopped playing about a week ago and won't jump back in until the start of S21.  Even then I'm assuming that will be short lived.  I'll check out the new map and then in a day or so I'll see that matchmaking and anti cheat are still as horrible as ever so I'll stop until S22.

@EA_Mako Hey Mako - wondering if are you able to clarify the ranked rewards for season 20. Do you know if the ranked badges are rewarded based on your highest split rank, or is it strictly your rank in Split 2 when the season ends? For example, if I hit masters in split 1, but diamond in split 2, would I receive a masters badge or diamond badge? Thanks!

Yeah, just unsure if they’re referring to your final ranks that show on your stats tab (and then taking your highest split) or your literal final rank the moment the season ends.

A lot of people in past seasons were under the impression that if you hit masters for example, then demote to diamond, you’d get master rewards. That is not true. I thought they may be referring to this in the tweet.

I think the reason that tweet isn’t clear to some (myself included) is because of how splits worked in the past. Just seems weird to re-add splits and then change how the rewards work after 19 seasons. 

Didn’t happen to me personally, but have seen continuing complaints the past few seasons how people weren’t getting, for example, diamond rewards if they demoted to plat before the season end. 

I figured the recent tweet may be Respawn washing their hands of that issue and outright saying, “You aren’t getting rewards if you demote.” Not really sure what they’re speaking to in that bullet point. 

Manage to play through the single player campaign for the game I picked up to play while waiting for the next season starts. 

I have been playing three nights of Apex pubs when I usually play ranked only with some mental recovery in Mixtape.

This legend unlock / flatline / wraith free skin thing is ruining the gameplay. 4/5 of my games my soloq teammates both try to take the Valk.
One gets it and another one leaves before we are in the dropship. Then the valk either flies straight out of the map or drops with 25 other valk players to get resetted back to lobby with one +1 valk game in their stats. 

As a working adult man who has never invested a single cent in Apex I am having really hard time understanding when did the in-game cosmetic become more important than playing the actual game. 

Like its the only reason why people log in to play. Can you please increase the leaving penalties to like 3 strikes and then you are out for 24h or something so the cosmetic chasers are not ruining game play for others. 

Season 20 is the season that finally broke me.  I've played 80% less matches this season than the previous 6 seasons.  The core issues (matchmaking, cheaters, smurfs, audio, aim assist imbalance, netcode/server performance) are not only not fixed, they are worse than ever.
