- @Lord_Scorpion34 Since marksman rifles fall under rifles I’d say rifle ammo. But since there’s no ‘rifle ammo’ in Apex I’m assuming they’ll just do sniper ammo to keep the loot pool less condensed with yet another type cause as they’ve stated, arrows will not be readily available, so adding another type of ammo would be weird.

I believe the Marksman category works like Pistol or SMGs. Basically, it contains guns of that class, that use a variety of ammo types. Unlike, say, the Shotgun class that only has weapons that use shotgun ammo.
Now, as for what ammo type the TT will be (in terms of it's icon), I'm not sure. It's not a Sniper anymore, so I don't know if they will use the icon. Maybe Energy? Like it used to be, a long time ago?

I will say I don't really agree with the reclassification of the TT (I mean if we start pulling at the "what is and isn't a sniper" thread, then the charge rifle might be next, because it's a bit odd as well). But, I feel the others do make sense to be put there they are. Just shoving them all under AR would just be a bit weird, in my opinion.
Also, there is some point in this reclassification. It's not like they're just slapping a different name on it and calling it a day. They did say in the Dev stream that Marksman will have a bit of a different strafe speed and spread pattern vs Sniper and AR. They weren't really clear on the spread, but they did say the strafe speed would be in between an AR and a sniper.
So, there is an overall point to this. And really, I feel it was inevitable, since they want to keep adding weapons (which I'm all for, by the way). To be honest, I always wondered where this bow would fall, when it first was leaked/rumored, a couple seasons ago. I mean, I guess you could have just thrown it in AR, but I don't think it would really fit. And Sniper has their own ammo, so that wouldn't really work. Thus, the Marksman class was born. And, outside of the TT, they are putting things I feel belong in a separate class. And it makes sense to have other things in there, instead of having the bow be all by itself (That would just be a waste of an introduction of a new class, in my opinion)
So... Yeah.
- @hayhor yes, each weapon in Marksman uses different types of ammo. There is no specific ammo for the whole class is what I am saying.
