Re: Should I quit playing online multiplayers?

If I may speak for all my toxic brethren who’ll likely pounce here:

@jokool_aid, DON’T let anyone tell you how to live your life. Alot of ppl, me included dislike it when a game puts us with seemingly braindead or bad ppl who’re supposed to be at least decent if they’re in same lobbies as us (screw you Apex xD). We msg, call out, heck some berate or go on a tantrum against that sucky person... (and then you have those scumbagsofpiecesofdogdoodoo who’ll take it further and threaten, throw racial slurs and such) just as an exhaust for that game.

That said, only you can decide what you like. If you like multiplayer, keep playing it even if you’re bad. Most games have good matchmaking in place (kind of impossible now for BRs due to the number of variables) so that lower skilled go against lower skilled so that it’s even playing field. Don’t let anyone take out the joy you experience while playing it. Like you said, you rage, smash stuff, heck you probably try doing backflips knowing you’ll fail cause you just need to fume out that excess energy. That means your passionate about it. If you didn’t care about losing/winning, mp games and so on you wouldn’t do those things. You can get frustrated, that’s natural. Venting is a way of dealing with it. It’s the same as ppl working out when they’re mad or ppl going to seek professional help to talk things out. Everybody needs a way to offload problems.
Everyone has a ceiling. Maybe yours isn’t that high but don’t worry about it. You can even say beforehand that you’re not very good in mp matches...

I am guilty of calling ppl noobs or stupid too (usually I’m well contained to not go further than that)... mic is muted but I unmute just to say those stuff cuz I know if I say it unmuted I’ll still have the urge to be bad... sometimes I throw controller... usually against pillow... sometimes not...

But the takeaway is, no matter if you suck at something, as long as you enjoy it, even if it frustrates you, keep going. Cause if we all stop doing things we like, what else is there left... <— damnit sounded so poetic in my head with sad music XD.

  • @Koochi-QSame. If one of my teammate lands solo across the map, I am the one to type 'Die idiot' as I see his HP go from 100 to 0. I don't care if people say it's toxic, stupid is stupid. Tho I never throw stuff lol, I am too poor for that :D

I had a Bangalore on my team who pushed solo 200 metres away , died and then when I called him out he says 'I am 10000x better than you'. He had 4k badge and all, I gaslighted him into leaving the  ranked game before banner timeout. I would rather play duo(2nd was a good random) than rez the guy.

  • BR(battle royal) games are very easy to rage/get mad at it, you know ?

This game experience as a solo player is beyond terrible. I don`t remember the last time my teammates carry me, when i play with randoms.

I played seriously till the Season 5, and that was the turning point. Now i just come back for a 1-2-3 days somewhere when there is new Season, and to check my level, cause i constantly grind hard on Kovaak for my aim(as well as movement).

And while i constantly getting better in terms of damage per game(its what i actually look as a chart, cause i play aggressively and mostly close to mid range, not using snipers and shotgun at all, mainly AR/SMG, and damage is the most accurate stats to tell me where i`m), the random teammates i`m getting are getting worst and worst. And i don`t even talking about mechanical skill, but to actually have 2 brain cells and to think, or just better listen to what i`m telling them.

Just a simple example, 3 teams left, we all 3 are exchanging, and we are in a good safe position, and i`m screaming just shoot and stay alive(aka don`t jump like a madman to get killed in 2 seconds), and guess what they are doing ? Yeah exactly jump and became a sandwich between the two teams.

    And this is constantly.

As far as what to do, this is your choice, but again playing as solo queue is pain in the ....., no matter how good you are.

And as far as your skill, and that you did not improve, then maybe this ain`t your genre. Just maybe find something that fits you. There is so much genre around, and unlike what people said almost all genre require certain amount of skill, so you can improve in them, and feel awarded for spending time on that game.

But if you just love FPS genre, and actually want to improve, just make yourself a good daily routine, get an Aim Trainer, and you will get better, but this ain`t happening overnight, it takes years actually.
