    @TbruhT  before I retired, I worked with several companies on internet security.  It does sound like an empty threat.  I won't tell you it is impossible, but here are some tips from this old rabbit;

    Never get lured by someone's rant to divulge your information.  This is a basic phishing ploy some hackers use.  They only claim to have your information and goad you to tell them your information.  There is an infamous meme on the internet called "Hunter2 password meme" you can look that one up.  Don't get tricked by the phishers.

    Facebook and Twitch are NOT friends.  Sorry to break the bad news, but bad people, who are seeking you out, look for your gamer tag and get all kinds of information from social media.  I don't use Facebook and Twitch because they post too much personal information about you.  Worse yet I have seen people posting cell phone numbers and gamer tags on the social media.  If you have a live stream, never link it to personal data, remain as anonymous as you can.

    Finally, there is a simple way to change your personal router IP.  There is a reset for getting a new IP within every router.  The IP from your ISP is called the gateway IP and this would only tell them what city you live nearby.   They would also need the password to your router to remote connect.

    There are many videos on YouTube about playing safe and secure online games.
