Its actually very easy to understand, if sniping is not rewarding or extremely difficult to do due to ring moving too fast people will not do it as often.
Another example, I like to win and I like to snipe, if I win 1 out of 10 times with a sniper riffle and 5/10 with an automatic riffle I would probably use an automatic riffle more often than not.

Matches already last around 20-22 mins, how much shorter do you want them to be? By your logic you can just drop everyone in one room full of guns, instant gratification no strategy just shoot em up rinse and repeat. I wonder which ver. of the game will have higher replayability. . .

People need to learn how to play the game that Respawn have designed.

This is not Cod (thank god). People need to learn how to be patient. Respawn also need to remove the hot drop so people don't all flock to it. Then the players might actually spread out around the map. This will happen over time (I hope) and people will realise they can't play like the streamers they watch.

By the end of round 1, my games normally have 10 squads left lol. But hot dropping is how you play apparently. Nobody can even wait on the drop ship for more than 30 seconds.

I enjoy Apex the way it's designed. I don't want it morphed into another generic "fast paced" shooter that end's up being chaos (the constant re-voting of Nuketown on Cod still gives me nightmares). Tiny map, no strats just utter chaos. Go play that for mindless fast paced action.
