I don't know the ins and outs of how this is supposed to work, but I think it would be nice to make a thread in the bug report forum on this one.

Na I have no idea why, it’s pretty stupid. I found out the same way. 

For some reason I can't submit my post in the bug reports section. Guess we'll just have to deal with this! 

Confirmed rank restriction still applies to duo queues, only three stacks can play without rank restriction.  I can't tell you why, though.  If I had to guess: say you're diamond and queuing with a silver player.  This would theoretically be placing an unfair disadvantage on the random third.

My account must be bugged then, I can't queue with the lads even though we're a full squad
