@MrCarri-X Not only did we pay for it, it's a middle finger to the "veterans" who have stuck around for that long. I'm sorry to all the influx of new players that missed it, not only are they not getting it they're ruining for the player base that have been supporting the game for this long.
@DankToliet "Who gives a * about the people who played this game since launch, since before covid, before the Warzone exodus. Why should they get anything? I only started playing Apex cause Nick Mercs told me I don't like Warzone anymore. But the people who were playing this long before me have different, unattainable skins. So that must be why I lose to them. Definetly not the year or more of play time before I started. So thats not fair, I'm going to complain. Waaa waaa waaa. Nerf Heat sink. Its broken. I did the grind for the Flatline skins cause they looked cool and I had the Apex coins to buy the pass.
The gun with this update will not look good any more.
I paid for a cosmetic, not an advantage.
Respawn even clarify that there is no advantage in the post regarding these changes...

Just "Perceived advantages." I have no illusions about it, no matter what skin/sights I have, i'm trash. But I would rather look at the pretty thing I spent actual money on, than a fugly iron sight.- @DethMetalMilkMan How in the world will a gun skin not look good anymore, with the adjustment of one little bit of the gun, that you could easily change with a sight. I feel that people complaining about this change are just overreacting to a very small thing. Please actually read what they wrote, and : “ We hope players who own these skins will appreciate these improvements and support us as we work to keep Apex Legends fun and fair.”
@DethMetalMilkMan They're not losing fights because of the skin. Their skill level is why they're getting bulldozed over.
I've gone to Diamond solo 5 seasons, I hold a lifetime 2.17 k/d.....all because of Heat Sink. Guess after this collection event I won't be able to make it out of Bronze.
