It can be quite frustrating if you cannot be practically respawned anymore by teammates and you'll have to wait out the timer, but on the other hand, your team is still alive and has a chance to win.
I agree with this.
There should be greater distinction in the the on-screen messages, between when you can and can't leave without penalty. There must also be a confirmation to quit when a penalty would be incurred.
I would just also like to add my suggestion to counter "rage-quitting". Which is to enable players - particularly those who know they rage-quit - to set a 'cool down' timer on the option to quit before the option to quit is fully activated. The timer could just be a few seconds but may be enough time to counteract the reflex tendency to quit. 🕒🤔
