Loot level, drop, teammates, weird game bugs and latency spikes make more difference to me. And I say this as someone who has a friend I play with daily. We get mental lobbies due to sbmm going hey wait a minute you guys will be better coordinated than solo queuing people, here are 3 stack pred teams to devour you.
Honestly while I find solo queuing frustrating due to random teammates, the lobbies are much better.
Hmm, sometimes when I solo queue I get a premade duo as teammates and those matches aren't always sweaty. I think there's always a chance for a mix of premade with solo queue and that's because waiting for a new match needs to be reasonably short.
Anyway, queue numbers and time of playing are very important in determining what the lobbies are gonna be like. There's no way that the matchmaking selects certain players in particular and sends them into specific hardcore matches as punishment for their good plays. It's just a simple sort based on some stats and then players 1-60 on the list go to one match, 61-120 to the second and so on. If you're getting preds and masters in your lobby, congratulations! you're among the top players in the queue, way above the local average.
The problem is not with how the matchmaker works, it's the way skill is distributed. A graph of the skill from low to high level of play would show an exponential growth, with the skill gap between average and bottom player being being much smaller than the one between average and the top. Respawn can't do anything here, it would be unfair to keep high level players wait dozens of minutes more than casuals, only to have a sweaty match.
today i play, for my luck matchmaking help me because im kd 1.08, i win some round in ranked and go to kd 1.16 (yeeeeee) but after 1 hour tadaaaaaaaa matchmaking punish me....no kill, bad loot armor and weapons, bad bad all bad and now tadaaaa for strange im returned to 1.08 ........EA you are the best
@hayhor 150 wins a season still puts you above the bulk of the playerbase lol.
I kicking out roughly the same when I was actually engaged in this game.
I usually just log in maybe once every 1 or 2 weeks, get battered for a few hours and don't play for a while these days.

SBMM is just a form of operant conditioning. You get that positive reinforcement every once in a while to keep you playing. Sort of like a slot machine. Psychology of games has seen a huge increase on importance in recent years. It is all about making money.
I cant even get out of gold this season, the other really bad thing right now is Smurf Accounts, people that are wildly better than most, but not at predator, diamond, etc.. so the reup over and over, and your playing better skilled players that show lower level numbers.. me and my friend have become quite frustrated with the game, its one thing if your just bad at the game, but when you get lasered with SMGs from sniper ranges, or people just plain DON"T miss one time, its either cheaters, or people of a skill level that shouldn't be playing with people on a casual level. I know there are good players, but i can't believe there are THAT many. this game has a bad problem with strike packs, and USB recoil Mods that let people have no recoil and snipe with R99s and wingman from 150m lol. and yeah im salty right now. this game is still fun, but less and less for the casual player.
