Sounds good. What I'd most prefer, and I have a feeling there are a lot that would agree with me, would be something like the 12 player FFA deathmatch like Ive seen played on R6 reloaded. I'd love to have something that's solo play besides no fill, and true solo BR is not likely to ever appear.
Only 2 teammates? Yeah, I see what's gonna happen here. As I've said before, at least with 8 randoms on Control, there's a higher chance of getting 1 or 2 who can actually do stuff. Sounds like it'll be one 3-stacking team galore, just dumping on the other teams of randoms. I'm gonna leave the game alot if SBMM is broken, I suspect.
I think @CCbathwater is kinda on to something here. I am not sure the SBMM will be able to properly balance this and I forsee a lot of matches where 2 teams will grief the third and the fourth sqd will be pot-shotting.
I also am pretty sure spawn killing will be a thing, I mean they really did not address that issue at all with control.
I also think that solo Q'ing in this format will not be good as I am pretty sure that if you are 3 stacking and many will, that the 3 stacks will rule the mode.
I probably would have set it up to have been 2 squads of 3 to a side, so a 6v6 TDM.
Of course when it comes out I will be def trying it out.
