@storms0n Apex is not very intuitive as far as what counts as AFK. Unfortunately people can AFK without much repercussion.

For you to leave with no penalty the player would need to be completely disconnected from the match, not just standing there doing nothing. The game should show a message warning you that if you leave under the wrong circumstances you will be penalized.

On your end all you can do is report people via the in-game feature or your respective platform’s method.
