Events do reset the counter. Event packs also do not count towards the 500 guarantee heirloom.

Don't you mean to say that the event DOESN'T reset the counter?

Damnit you are right. Chinese and japan apex community all know about this bug. Can we get an official confirmation about the bug that resets counter from the ACE event?

i agree there must be an official answer from somewhere else.. developers, apex team, there is a bug!!!! Take this seriously please. anyone that does nor believe me, feel free to ask me anything. 

I will gladly explain with arguments why this might've resetted the count of 500 shards. 

the worst part is that, in all events,. you get the heirloom through the final pack (containing the heirloom) in the apex pack resembling the event. For example in the Iron Crown Event the final heirloom after getting all items comes out of a Iron Crown Lootbox (Meaning the heirloom came from an event box)

HOWEVER.. 

in this current ACE event, the final apex pack giving the 150 heirloom shards comes not from the Red colored ACE event box, but from a freakin' NORMAL APEX PACK.

You will see, that the last pack with the heirloom shards has a standard pack skin, NOT event skin... meaning that the developers answering us with 'Event packages giving heirloom do not reset counter'

but ladies and gentlemen, please check the video yourself and you will see that the heirloom shards are rewarded through a NORMAL apex pack. That is where the the developers might've made a mistake.
