@Asmodeus566I want more companies to follow Respawn's example for success both within the work environment and for their return of investment on their leading product. I can think of NOTHING that parallels Respawn and Apex Legends' success in this manner, and this is something that deeply saddens and angers me. I want to throw money at a company like Respawn to inspire them to follow the example they have set for the games and entertainment industry as a whole. I don't want to support Apex for its BR-centric gameplay.
I really like this post of yours. It gets your point across without demeaning gaming companies.
I really do agree with you that Respawn and EA have made a great game in Apex in their approach to being very relatable by a wide range of players, this good for their game and great for gamers and does set a great standard for others to follow and or emulate.
I have heard rumor's of Respawn/EA working on a single player shooter game in the Apex/Titanfall universe. IDK much more than that. but maybe that will be something more to your liking if and when it comes out.
@Asmodeus566I just want everyone else to follow suit soon and quickly. It's easy to set up these standards, companies and their employees just have to always exercise consciousness. The more difficult part is trying to tap into a market and make a fortune off of those who do not want to play BR. Most other franchises exist successfully for those who want excellent non-BR experiences, but I am sad and angry they have been developed at the severe cost of workforce wellbeing.
I also don't really want to trust rumors because companies can and will deny and/or backtrack on them, even Respawn, because they have their own ideas of fun and success that just differ greatly to mine.
