Warslags onto something there I think. If the self rev was single use but the knockdown shield refreshed hp on each knock that'd be awesome. Literally wouldn't need knockdown shields in the loot pool anymore.
Players should able to revive themselves from the start.
Players should always be able to recover their own banners. A drone could automatically be despatched to any type of respawn beacon. The proximity of the player to a respawn beacon would add a duration to the recovery of their banner.
Too many players leave matches or give up when they're downed or dead etc. I wonder if a greater prospect of being revived or recovered might alter the effects of hot drops and lone wolves and all the other types of terminal behaviour that can spoil games for teammates?
