@furyofwolves It is true that way too many people gamble on looting or fighting when the ring is near but having a player's game end at round 2 just because they can't heal fast enough? Feels pitiful. Agree that the ring should be punishing but I don't want a player being permanently out the game despite having tons of gear and healing to compete with and no other living threats.
A common scenario for me is running away from the ring with my team and seeing a second team running the same way. I'd preferably ignore them and keep running but they force the engagement. Even if we win chances are both teams are dying just because the other team was too aggressive.
The absolute minimum I would ask for is to lower the damage enough for a player to heal after they've just been revived without making things complicated.
