Rookie players in gold lobbies

OK so I gave the ranked rework a try but all through as a solo queue player I've been getting teamed with rookie badges and bronze badges. Yes sometimes this is players that are good and need to work their way back through ranked. Most times I'm finding that in reality they are people at that level.

How is ranked "representative" of your skill level if you're teamed up with people like that against all the 3 stacks or players at the correct level in ranked.

I thought the new system was going to be better as it should set people at their true level. But I've found this is only true for 3 stacks. At least until they stop this pairing.

One suggestion, if you're pairing players with these lower ranked players. Reduce the RP deficit or something. It's not our fault that you can't create a balanced rank system.

    I can't get out of silver because I keep getting paired with Rookie and Bronze players and loose RP.  In most of these instances, I have way more damage and kills.

    I'm a fairly new player, and I just started playing ranked like 3 days ago. I don't know why but I'm consistently in silver lobbies and the champion squad always has a fricking diamond??? I can't tell if I hold my team back because I usually get higher damage and kills than my teammates but I still feel like I shouldn't be in these lobbies. Idk so far I've had a really poor experience in both ranked and Pubs (had a MASTER in my first ranked arena's placement game????)

    @Ragarath am in gold II now but came across masters and diamonds all over the place in both silver and gold, as well as bronze and rookie players at times.

    I've tried playing on different eu servers and I think when there is a difference in the size of the player base, at different times of day, the matchmaking changes. This might be to keep the match waiting times down.

    Just landed on Plat IV yesterday. The lobbies are way easier now compared to last split but still sweatier compared to last season. I’m in a premade squad in even in gold we’re up against below average players with a rank of rookie. The MM in Rookie-Gold is all over the place. In plat, everyone has at least one masters player.
