Until very recently the nofill button gave a 5 min queue, now its as fast as normal drops, until everyone finds out about that you will have some toot their own horn, and in ranked you dont have that option.
In general if someone choose a bad drop spot I tend to break off myself and then meet up if they survive or after I got hold of the basics. Just play your own game and if someone is teaming with you utilize that in your play. Can be several reasons why someone would drop outside of your vicinity, to be honest I won more 2v3 games then 3v3 games so its hardly that much of a disadvantage to loose one, in the end circle he will most likely show up again anyhow.
