@Cheese9Man Out of curiosity, how does the lore explain the Legends dying in the Apex games, and being alive to compete again the next go round? In this trailer, Bangalore says "It's my last match, and I'm not going home without a win." I can't remember reading anything that explains the resurrections throughout the games. Do you happen to know?
There is very little "official" lore about this. From their own page:

Its pioneers, explorers, and outlaws used to spend their lives locked in an endless power struggle – now, they settle their differences in the Apex Games, a bloodsport where Legends from all corners of the Frontier compete for money, fame, and glory. >>
There is very little about how these people all fight to the death, but are back each season. I have a few theories:
1) As they have the tech for Simulacra now, none of these legends in the Arena are the original. Like in many "transhuman sci-fi" settings (Altered Carbon, Eclipse Phase, etc) these people are clones of the original, sent in with an "alpha copy" of memories for the fights, as the originals are too valuable to risk losing.
2) The Death Boxes are a real, physical part of the games. Perhaps bundled in with the Jump Pack, it's a emergency life support system that engages when vitals are dangerously low (perhaps with a 1-5% fail rate, which explains cannon deaths). It allows you to take their gear, but preserves the life of the combatant until medivac.
3) Only the match winners are the real legends. The rest of the squads are really nameless other contestants, there to die to the legends and sell tickets/views. For gameplay purposes, on our end, we're selecting legends, but canonically if (more likely, when, due to the nature of BR) we lose, we were just other scrubs with a jump pack and a gun.
