I had two stand outs:
1. Purple and gold gear reduced by 50%. King of Game Balance @ Respawn, please talk about the thought process behind this change.
2. Bot Royale. Yes, I'm pissed about the huge thinning of an already far too thin loot pool, but THIS, Respawn, THIS almost makes up for it.
The rest of it I don't really care about. Except maybe the "battle sense" stuff. Kinda seems like another crutch change, but I'll reserve judgement.

@reconzeroI think the reduction in purple and gold loot is early game before the bins reset. At least that's what I'm guessing based on the dev note.
Bot Royale is long overdue but I'm not holding my breath. It all depends on how the bots behave in a BR setting. With so many variables in a BR game, I'm not convinced they'll be legit enemies. If they are stock skin Bangs and Lifelines running aimlessly and alternating between firing randomly and insta-beaming people, it will get old fast.
I actually think the best QOL change is gonna be the reformatting of the death boxes. I struggle with looting quickly sometimes so I think this will really help with shield swaps mid fight and resets before you get third partied.
I'm actually more concerned with what they didn't put in the patch notes, notably anything about matchmaking, anti-cheat, smurfing, server performance, or audio issues. Everything else becomes window dressing until they do something about those things, IMO.

With what they said "Your priorities are our priorities" yadda yadda - like you said not a single thing mentioned in regards to OUR priorities or theirs.
I am most worried and skeptical about the battle sense. Still not sure if this is specific to a game mode or if this is in pubs, ranked et cetera.
Giving ppl wall hacks and that kind of info one; takes away from many different legend abilities and makes them obsolete, and two: is just bad for gaming in general. Is this a "we can't do anything about wallhackers so here, everyone can have this." ??
Reveal meta is and will always be a cancer for multiplayer competitive gaming.

Haven't tried the bots yet, but I have tried Revival on E-District.
The map is what most people will say is too big, but Respawn cleverly started it out with the Revival game mode which allows people who die a lot to make the map as small as they want. Not sure how many people that will fool, but we'll find out.
Every season I say, "The loot can't possibly get any worse." And then it does. This season is the WORST BY FAR. Who anywhere thinks half-kitted guns, and guns you would never normally pick up but now have to, is the definition of fun????? Why are they doing this?
The mid-game bin reset is pointless, at least it was to me. I found a mythic bin once and by the time I got it open the match was over. Try it. You'll see what I mean.
Which brings me to the final point: everything about this season is a honey trap. You play because you've always played, and you think that whatever new handicap they've put me under, well, everyone else is under it too because "level playing field." Which is crap. If matchmaking puts one shark squad in your lobby then it's really all about them. And it's not an "if." They do and they will. And now, thanks to Revival, they get to kill you multiple times in a single match. 20 bomb, you say? Oh no, my friend. It's time to amp that up to 30, maybe even 40. Because thanks to optimal Respawn matchmaking and unlimited noob respawns there are players who would get it.
E-District: I like it. I'll like it even better when mm settles down and Revival goes away.
Loot Cull: It's always a mistake, and this season is the biggest mistake yet. And that's saying something.
