I mean my point is in the subject line. It just shows the state of Apex and just how little they give a crap about the player experience. The Pathfinder bug dropped with the new Event and is still not fixed 5 days later. The Sentinel gets a bug that benefits the player and is something people could have a little fun with and they take it down in under 3 hours. “We can’t have any of you Apex players out there playing around having fun on our watch. Go play pathfinder for a while with half your screen covered while we drink coffee [Admin - Removed]” This game sucks, EA stopped making money so they abandoned it like they bastardize every game that stops raising their bottom line.

@rickyressel This kind of thing really boils down to priorities. Yes Pathfinder bug is an issue, but it's not such a big issue that it breaks the game. You can still play it and use other legends. It will get fixed and likely added to a patch update. That has been the track record with all major game up dates, there are unexpected problems, they fix them over a week or two. Then release an update.The Sentinel is a major problem in which it would completely break the game.

@DarthValtrex I'm sorry my dude but there is literally no fence sitting to be done with the pathfinder glitch.You grapple, it bugs out...it's really that simple. It shouldn't have slipped past QA yet somehow such a glaringly obvious bug did, yet again.Yes unexpected issues can occur, but when they're such obvious ones they should be spotted before implementation.

@DarthValtrex But Path’s vision gets obscured on literally EVERY grapple. There is positively no way that passed inspection. It simply wasn’t inspected from the get go. It’s literally a 100% fail for each grapple.

@MandatoryIDtag Well, bugs can get past QA in many ways. Sometimes there are last minute fixes to other bugs that cause new ones, for which there's not enough time left. Other times, the devs which have the issues assigned are not available (medical leave, vacation, delayed by other, higher priority issues and so on). It's normal for each new release to pass QA with a list of known bugs and major updates are only postponed when there's something really bad (usually issues that crash the game pretty often or breach important rules of the publisher). I think the dev tracker aims to make the public aware of these bugs, but maybe they should include some of the top known issues in the patch notes as well.

The devs absolutely hate pathfinder. It is the only explanation. Nerf after nerf after nerf. Now he is basically unplayable as you cannot see half the screen after grappling.
Seems like it was intentionally done by a rogue dev that especially loathes pathfinder.

@rickyressel Your title is incorrect. They didnt fix the sentinel bug, they removed the gun until they can fix it. They are not going to remove pathfinder from the game for a glitch that can be overcome by climbing.

@hayhor that gun is useless anyway, it has a very weird bullet drop which is not consistent by the way and the damage is not sufficient for the reload time.
74 body shot and 100 when charged in not enough when you have to spend around 1.5 seconds to reload the next round by that time the enemy will be gone with a broken shield only.

@DarthValtrex Don't know how you can use Path when you get half of the screen blocked lol. Things like this should not happen because usually a patch is tested before being released to see if there are these kind of problems. Unfortunately, it seems like Respawn regularly forgets this part of the job.

@Cro_Pittt I understand that point. but small scale testing in an office is completely different than large scale testing.

When things go live you have players doing everything. Players doing things that the testers do not do. Then problems start to pop up.

I have had it happen with basic point of sale software at my businesses. We get the server running perfectly in the back office. Bring it out onto the floor of the business and things start popping up.. We then spend the next week fixing it. Granted these days most point-of-sale systems are well oiled machines. But in the early days (when we used super DOS) it was weeks of headaches.

I was just trying to point out that it might not have happened on their test servers.
