Damn I've heard plenty of people binding jump to their mouse but I had never thought of binding crouch toggle there. I might set my middle click to crouch toggle.
I haven't changed much. Assume that anything I didn't mention is still the same.
Crouch hold = X
Ultimate = Q
Tactical ability = Z or Mouse 5
Ping = Mouse 4
Push to talk = B
Fire mode = J
Most changes are for consistencies sake across other shooters. I was thinking of reconfiguring again.
I might rebind F (ping enemy) because it's more natural for me to do the same thing with double clicking normal ping. It got to the point that I forgot what F was for. I've played plenty of games where E is interact, I've played plenty of games where F is interact. Never too late to experiment.

The only way I use it (alternative use button) is for picking up attachments that I don't want or can't put on my gun. E.g., pick up a 2nd sight or a lower level mag.
As for binding settings. I'd say the only important differences from default I've made are ping on mouse 4 (one of the most used buttons, so nice to have it on easily accessible button) and tactical ability on mouse5. (I usually have melee on mouse4, but I put it on scrolldown for Apex (which I normally don't use at all)).
P.S. I think a lot of people ignore the Caps lock button. It's a very easily reachable button, that should be used for common action (tape down the caps lock lamp indicator if it's annoying and not disable'able). I use it for push to talk.

Hello @Biochemikas
Thank you very much for this sharing, which raised me a question regarding to keys like Caps Lock, Windows Start Menu & the Alt + Tab combo,
I wonder if by pressing Caps Lock you will get out of the game, also if you accidentally pressed Windows Start Menu key or Alt + Tab combo something like that.
Is there a way to disable some keys when in game ?

I don't think you can use Win button for anything (unless you can rebind it through drivers), I always disable it (if it's possible; not sure in Apex). Although I don't ever accidentally press it.
I don't use Alt button in Apex, since I don't really have anything left to bind to it (it's not an easy to reach button (C,V,B are much more easily accessible thumb buttons than Alt), so only rare action would fit it). Since I don't use Alt, I don't have Tab problems, but in games where I do use both, I make sure those actions are mutually exclusive and are not used together (or I disable the Alt-Tab shortcut).
