From my experience there is nothing you can really do vs cheaters, not at higher levels - your TTVs, your rank grinders, your pros.
You can take out time to time those soloq hackers that just usually go a bit above masters and just flex like crazy during games pushing everyone and succeeding in doing so even in Master/Pred lobbies. If you 1v2 or 1v3 such players there is a chance that he will probably knock 1 or even 2 of you but if played out well 1v3 is too OP in this game and only rage hacks can maybe pull it off when played well.Otherwise your typical 3stack "pros" will have one of them run wh - you will notice that most streamers pay 0 attention to the game, rotations, often do not take jump master duties, instead interact with chat and stop doing that only when fight has begun.
All of them will have either softbot or trigger for it. Usually you will see this during the game where you start the fight and it is kinda 50/50 and then suddenly they just beam you/your teammate, get instant knock and push like crazy to finish the job like you were total bots and were not holding your ground a moment ago.
Another more obvious sign - skynade = throwing grande in a way that it explodes not reaching ground / as soon as reaching the ground. And combined with aimbot, those granades fly towards you even when you run away :D basically undogable. Bang bang you are -60 or more health off, if your teammates do not expect that it might hit multiple people for 60+ = easy push because you have basically 1/2 health vs wh, aimbot and perfect coordination of pushes. Finally when you play Master/Pred lobbies that always contain hackers, you can try and see how perfectly following thing works - create some distance between you and your teammates, say 100m, pretend to be looting, tell teammates not to come towards you. Probably <1 min later a 3 stack or crazy fragger on Ash / Octane will appear and just push in your face, subtle ones use Sparrow and will shoot random arrows exactly where you are to "scan you" before the push. So basically if you don't hold hands in those lobbies you are instadead / one of the first to die in the lobby.
And the list goes on as it is very hard if near impossible to hide hacks, all "best hackers" have done in every game is make people question like 50/50 cases where person is hacking but not bluntly and has skill to make it less obvious, still they e.g. guess right every time the direction enemy cuts corner if there are just two options, start landing 1 mags when it matter the most etc. And there executive decision from moderators must be made -> in case of the Apex it is allowed -> so everyone top level hacks one way or another.
Hope this helps and you will notice hackers more often and report them in game / via web form :) (with hope that it will eventually start working and bans will be issued).

The zero recoil, aim assist and walls is getting a bit out of hand imo. If we had some npcs or ways to negate their aim that'd be awesome. I don't wanna have to be forced to play Ballistic in order to shut down their spray and pray with cheats.. it feels like over 70% of the current legends don't quite cut it when it comes to fighting cheaters. Conduit (so long as you are able to tactical+nade), Ballistic (just chall like normal), Gibby (Bubble+nades or ult), Wattson (play to doors/buildings) Newcastle (shield peak+ ult stun) and Alter (get fences, traps, or nades when they knock your bud & land the rest of your shots) seem to be the best picks vs em. But yeah M.M needs to be able to be the shield breaker that's kinda her whole thing. Least her tact works kinda vs Halo. I detest the Ashe, Ballistic with anything these days to enable them. It's like playing a horror game for 30+ seconds. Really need to reset before the even challenge you.. I think it's quite hard to notice, they outta make ballistics ult a bit more noticeable with some sound indicator that warns people better that they're gonna out dps the **bleep** outta you.

I usually glance through patch notes and somehow I had the same certainty, in that particular game I apologized to my teammates for not knowing better and throwing that game basically as my plan was to ult and then shoot from distance while lifeline was picking up people inside halo which ended up by me wasting ult, stunning myself and facing 2v1 moments later :D
After MM and Cypto ult reworks + Newcastle wall being destructible I somehow got a feeling that now all "walls" can be destroyed...clearly not :D
Cavmun honestly I don't feel like current meta is too op, actually even till Master's level I enjoy facing Ash teams (to lesser extent Ballistic without Ash) as you can be 99% sure they will push like crazy. MM proves to be a great counter, especially in my favorite combo - KC map + her.
When playing D4+ lobbies the biggest issue I see time and time again is a combination of:
1. Ash players somehow has godlike aim. E.g. yesterday I predicted Ash push -> stunned her with my Ult launching it from around corner and taking 0 damage -> cut corner to 1 mag stunned Ash -> instead got teared apart by the player somehow 1 magging me like nothing else matters WHILE ball stun effects / animations was still on.
2. Soloq (especially, but it is also true with random 3stacks on Discord lfg) players panic as soon as Ash / Ballistic ult and create even easier than usual number disadvantage -> enemy team with 1-2 Ults enabled are given numbers advantage as well. E.g. Yesterday with D3+ players on team I stunned the whole pushing team, followed up by shooting them but soon realized that somehow we are not getting knocks -> turned out my teammate decided to use a cell while being 100 HP + 50 Shields and other teammate was holding upcoming angle where enemies could be only if they kill me which happened soon after :D So it was basically 3 stunned vs 1 -> 3 semi broken vs 2 -> gg.Long story short - majority can't play this game well, adjust their play style according to Meta and counter Meta, communicate during the game and as many just bluntly hack, making OP characters be even more OP.
p.s. Latest trend I see is that blunt hackers actually switch to Octane -> create Octane + Ash combo and with hacks on that is basically unbeatable.

I agree. M.M needs some love. Control characters need to get that x2 healing on small heals across the board bc they need some resilience vs this heavy mobile meta. Characters such as Caustic, Rampart, Catalyst need some better perks. Maggie and Fuse are struggling for their mobility and perks to choose from as well. If you compare most characters to Ashe, Ballistic, Wattson, Vantage, Sparrow.. we've learned they have the mobility, options and can eat all their cake too. It's such a power creep issue that mains are forced to forsaken their favorite character in hopes to win some games without demoralizing their team due to their subpar pick.
-I agree.
