@BaronKreight If there was no mm you would have a better experience just judging from the math alone. What you feel happening is 100% intentionally being done to you. SBMM working 100% as intended, = keeping your interest by making it unrealistically hard in any way possible.
Test it by losing a bunch in a row and see lobbies getting progressively easier as a result over time.
Go and do the math yourself - what percentage of players are below average? The vast majority is. Who can make it to diamond / Master / pred? Very few by comparison, so why do you think you see more sweats than casuals on average, assuming you are above average? It's because the vast majority of bad players are hidden from you and because the matches are planned out that way from the start. Some matches you have for eg. 20% chance of winning from the start and some 0%, others around 60%..it all depends on many variables obviously, and also how many matches / kills you had recently. For me it can be 1 good match in every 10-20 games played. Considering the amount of players available I would call that a unrealistic number to have fun or achieve decent success. Sad thing is the difficulty level of lobbies scales with your own progression, so even if you improve the high you get from it would be short lived.
I believe there's is also some algorithm being collected on your personal data as to when you leave a game after a certain amount of losses/wins. And that influences difficulty of your lobbies as well.
