- @d0JuTsu There's not a single Anti-Cheat engine that prevents aimbot so it can't be considered cheating.
- @fatmanbreathing Wrong. Anti cheats do have aimbot detection, but they aren't and can never be 100% effective. Cheating is illegal, smurfing is in a grey area, as it is a vehicle often used for cheating but has a lot of situations where it makes a lot of sense.
- @DoYaSeeMe I read your list of reasons why smurfing 'makes sense' and forgive me for thinking they were all lame excuses for garbage behavior.
It seems point less talking about the moral ambiguity of smurfing when those "smurf" accounts are also tied into the cheat accounts, i mean what percentage of those accounts arent actually pros letting off steam but rinse/dry/repeat cheats?
IMO smurfing is secondary to the cheating problem that infests BR`s, most of those apparent smurfers wont even be legitimate players anyway.
The whole system is stupid, take ranked. I made the mistake of hitting diamond last season but i wont ever be doing that again, because diamond is my ceiling, my limit and the second you hit it you get thrown in with preds and masters almost every game and repeatedly getting smashed by the top 500 players in the world is no fun. Its WORSE than smurfers because thats respawns legitimate system............
Now i just hover on plat 3/2 and at least enjoy my games.
Smuring is cheating, period. All have failed to change my mind otherwise.
Smurfing is a violation of the TOS as is made clear due to the introduction of the report function. However since it has been more than a year since smurfing started to become rampant, it is also clear that EA/Respawn have no genuine concern for it. The TOS is in essence, an agreement between the developer and the user. I agree not to cheat and they agree to not allow cheaters. Based on that agreement I have, in good faith, paid money toward services intended to enhance the game's aesthetics. I believe that EA/Respawn has violated that agreement by ignoring smurfing. I believe users would be well within their right to explore charge-back proceedings.Change my mind...

@C0nfusias I won't change your mind...I will agree with you and double down on this.
If you are such a coward that you are circumventing the matchmaker there is no reason or excuse that makes it okay. None.
- I want to play with my low ranked friend. Go ahead on your main account and play against the competition it matches you to.
- I am stuck and can't progress. To bad.
- I want to stomp low tier players. Really, that pathetic are we?
What else is there? I will debunk it right now.
