Smurfs are taking over Apex Legends!

I already posted this topic in the German part of this forum. But somehow noone (even the CMs) seems to care.

Problem: I witness a lot of smurfs around since the beginning of S17. There is at least one in my random squad and also at least one in the enemy-squads.

Question:

1) Where are all the new smurfs suddenly coming from?

2) Is the creation of secondary accounts still officially prohibited?

3) If yes, is anything being done about this by EA/Respawn?

4) If no, why does the report-function still exist?

We need a statement on this since smurfing might be one (!) reason for the desastrous matchmaking.

    I honestly don’t think EA cares. It’s happed to me too along with going against 3 stacks. It’s the reason I quit playing BR and just stopped playing the game really. I’m 10 packs away from an heirloom and you would think that that would give me a purpose to play the game. I doesn’t. I also play rampart and EA doesn’t care about any character that has a less than 9% pick rate. It’s sad. EA used to be so much better. This feels like several steps backwards from Star Wars battlefront 1 which was completely pay to win or grind your butt of to actually stand a chance.
