@Cheese9ManIt wasn't available in Dolby for me. Saw it in IMAX which was good enough lol. It's was very good! The original is what kinda awakened try the AV Nerd in me. Independence Day solidified it lol.

Tom Cruise is the worst actor in the world. I can summarize every movie I have seen from him
Movie starts with Cocky Boy! Cocky Boy excels at the plot of the movie. Cocky Boy sees Girl. Cocky Boy gets girl. Cocky Boy experiences an event that cause Cocky Boy to lose confidence. Cocky Boy becomes Somber Boy. Somber Boy is put into a situation where he must dig deep to save the day. Somber does so and becomes Hero Boy.
- @Padding_Ur_Stats I don’t think anyone watches his movies for the dramatic scenes. I love his movies just for the spectacle of the action and the insane stunts he’s going to do. It’s like the story is just there to bring him to the action.
Same goes with the Fast and Furious franchise for me. I laugh uncontrollably every time Vin Diesel mentions “Family” but I’m in it for the action and laughs. Not every movie needs to be thought provoking and some movies you just need to turn off your brain and enjoy. - @Padding_Ur_Stats He's not cocky in Jack Reacher but he is a hard a$$ & very precise.

I love action, but the story is the foundation of the action. Action for actions sake is meh.

Laughs is a dynamic Cruise lacks. He has no comedic timing. He has no range. I have never seen the FnF franchise.
Not every movie needs to be thought provoking and some movies you just need to turn off your brain and enjoy.
That is why Marvel is so successful. Has enough plot to keep the piece together, good comedic timing, lots of action.

When you see a Tom Cruise movie, you know what you're going to get, but isn't that the point, and isn't that the point with most films/and actors. When you see a film and Chris Pratt is in it, you're not going to expect it to be about vineyard management in 19th century Italy.- @EdwardDLuffy Chris Pratt a.k.a. the best Mario voice actor?
