Tom Cruise is the worst actor in the world. I can summarize every movie I have seen from him
Movie starts with Cocky Boy! Cocky Boy excels at the plot of the movie. Cocky Boy sees Girl. Cocky Boy gets girl. Cocky Boy experiences an event that cause Cocky Boy to lose confidence. Cocky Boy becomes Somber Boy. Somber Boy is put into a situation where he must dig deep to save the day. Somber does so and becomes Hero Boy.

When you see a Tom Cruise movie, you know what you're going to get, but isn't that the point, and isn't that the point with most films/and actors. When you see a film and Chris Pratt is in it, you're not going to expect it to be about vineyard management in 19th century Italy.

I found the new top gun movie more or less an exact replica of the first one. The first top gun was amazing at the time.
Yt and ytreelett loved the recent one, probably as much as I enjoyed the first one, but the recent one didn't do much for me at all.
Only sequel from bitd that really floated my boat was the recent Bladerunner 2049 film.
