Testing the new Ranked Matchmaking

Wait, what?

You lost all placement games with 0 kills and 0 dmg and you got Bronze 3? How can that be?

Sounds/looks like something is wrong here?

I placed 18, 15, 15 (bad drops from Hot drop Harrys), 10, 8, 5, 4, 4. 3 and 1st in my matches with ok dmg and a few kills, top 10 placement was 70% top 5 was 50% of my games and I was placed at Rookie 2.

SMH about what I have seen and heard about the placement matches.

This is what I mean about shaking my head. Placed Gold 4 in split 1 and silver 1 in split 2 last season.

Placement matches were avg 8.3 placement with 1 win and 50% top 5 placement.

Avg dmg is 427

and a kd of .44 

And I also get placed at Rookie 2?

And even bronze placement I think it's too low if you look at the placement matches.

    I do not understand and I'm wondering if it's a bug or something?

      @Asmodeus566 reminds me of the whole Arenas Ranked Stuff ... more kills than my teammate more dmg , he gets 100for a win i get 12, but for a loss i got -96 and he only -20 , same rank tho ...

        Well that is from the hidden MMR you have your teammate could have a higher MMR and you a lower one therefore if you earned Bonuses against same MMR opponents they would get less and you would get more. This is skewed by the differences per individual player you are matched with and against and no one will ever know what they are getting until the match ends. The only assurance is the base placement LP.  

        Even after placement matches the lobby is based off of the hidden MMR.

        I currently feel bad about the whole "Arena's placement" approach to Ranked right now. 

        I am def not that great at the game but am far from being a rookie. 

        I guess I will just have to grind that much more.
