Well I'm also surprised about hearing it, though has there been any direct proof of this?
If honest, it would kind of be bad design to have a difference in AA between platforms.
Using a controller won't be harder on PC or on Console, they're practically using an assist to balance their game between platforms, not a good move.
Splitting queue's could be an option, though right now it seems like it wouldn't be the best choice, especially due to the drop in players.

This talks about the AA, and also what Asmodeus and I just discussed.

Nice reddit link to the whole discussion.
I think I have red it once before or something very similar.

in my dragon quest thread i said that twitching about physically is a sign of being on drugs and this is seen in looting and the drug is dopamine.
the reward is winning with a helpful team as they twitch about giving the dopamine from seeing the team twitch about like flittering birds or fireworks.
its the dopamine that sells the game and this is the jittery movement from being on something like dopamine.
cross play makes the game start faster which makes looting come faster which releases the dopamine faster. making repeat customers.
like the dr feelgood song by motley crew. with dopamine.
making console have better controller support is supposed to make consoles give better dopamine release by winning fights more but i spent a great deal of money in pc on skins and don't care if the dopamine is better on console i already spent my money so i get less dopamine from controller by playing on pc making me a rebel now i think about it i guess i should swallow the loss of money on pc and just play controller on console and be a good boy. 🙂
