With the now recent trailer dropping for the champion edition that is coming in season 7, i couldn't but help to see a problem that wasnt addressed in the trailer or description of the trailer or on the article of the official website for apex legends and that is: Will players who already have the unlockable legends from season 0 (caustic and mirage) to season 6 (all legends released seasonly up to rampart at this point), receive a dicount on the champion edition due to them having all those legends already. I personally will probably still buy the champion edition because this is a game i am willing to invest my time and money in but the thought of having to spend money for game features (the legends) I already have possesion of is, with all due respect, a horrible monetization scheme because it'll just be selling players who have said features (the legends) that are unlockable by choice at a grander price with accomodating skins. This post is to get some clarification on this dilemna. Thank you for you assistance and time.

@Nero_Tha_One No this is a pack for new players. Like the "definitive edition" for other games or the Celebration Edition of Star Wars Battlefront 2. It's designed to catch new players up mostly, not something for long time players. Most games use it in an effort to boost sales later in the game's lifecycle.

@SHIZNICKMASTA Being a casual player doesn't make you a scrub lol. Some people have outside responsibilities limiting the amount of play time they can actually put into the game lol.As pointed out above the pack is actually quite good value for money if you're willing to spend that much regardless of what level you are.

@Nero_Tha_One Doubt it, if its an external purchase there's no way of controlling that really.If its an in game purchase the relevant discounts can be added.

@Nero_Tha_One They're definitely not gonna give us anything which is kinda annoying in a sense because we've been loyal fans of the game....so it's like why cater to new customers rather than some fan service. But that's how companies work I suppose

@ArchAngeL-PCX When I meant giving I didn't mean for free. Some kind of discount or something would be nice. You do make a fair point tho. There's been plenty of free event packs and the free part of the battle pass (tho you don't usually get that much from it).

On the bright side I guess we'll see a lot of skins come back into the store for the new players to get.

Previous physical edition cost $18 and you get only 1 legend, 1 gun, & 1000 apex coins.
This one has 3 legends, 3 gun, but instead 3000 apex coins, this one has only 1000.
So the price is adjusted from $54 -> $40.
If you calculate :
$40 - $10 (apex coins) = $30 for 6 legendary skins, so each is $5, still a good deal.

If it was solely and specifucally marketed towards new players alone then why didnt they just make the package with jus the unlockable legends alone and have the new exclusives as a separate package?
