The Changes Of Ranked Is Ruining Public Matches.

The design changes of Ranked is ruining what people liked about public matches. Some don't care about Ranked Respawn, you're going to alienate them. How Respawn never thought of this before implementation, shows they don't know the majority of the community as well as they think.

The majority of profits come from casuals and/ or people who don't play Ranked, yet most of the suggestions and/ or changes come from streamers and/ or EA Game Changers who don't spend money on the game, but make it with donations.

Apex Legends didn't become popular because people were hiding in a corner just to use Valkyrie's ultimate to reposition. It became what it is today because of interesting movement, great moments and/ or shots.

1) Ranked needs a practice mode so teams and/ or groups can play there to warm up over using public.

2) Valkyrie needs a nerf and/ or massive rework.

Respawn is trying to change the fundamentals of the game into a competitive title, but Apex Legends will never be what Valorant is, just not possible and it seems Respawn can't understand this notion.

With these changes to Ranked, I've seen a drastic change towards public games and its players, and I've actually witnessed players saying they're going to quit because of it. I've heard discussions that some don't have the time to just sit around camping rings and/ or even care for ranked play. All they care about is trying to do cool things.

Apex Legends in my mind became popular because of interesting kills and/ or shots, not because someone wasted 10 mins crouching.

I get there are people that want to win, but there are also those who just want to have fun. This update to Ranked didn't think about the majority of people in Apex Legends.

Respawn still after 3 years doesn't get this. Some just want to have fun, and don't care about competition. In my mind, Apex Legends is not a true competitive title, so I would think Respawn would at least give back, but it hasn't happened.

I honestly think Ranked needs a non-ranked mode to encourage team play so Public games can be a place for learning basic skills and/ or learning.

Just a quick disclaimer though. I’m always in a pre-made squad made up of diamond level players. I just wish that we’re against diamond players and not 3 stacking masters but I get if there isn’t enough players to fill the lobby. Our pubs turn into the ALGS when my Masters level friend joins the game though.

Answer: Rookie levels. After that one should then understand ranked and practice time is over.
