I stopped even trying to figure out the reasoning of this after a month and a half that I started playing. Apex for me is now an Arenas only game because BR completely ridiculous. My win rate is 2.56% and my KD is now 0.39, which isn't even average, it's way below that. Still, 95% of the players I always encounter in BR have more than 2K kills and 700K damage, Idk what those ppl are doing in the same lobbies as me and/or in ranked, I'm silver ffs. I haven't seen such a bad system (or lack of) in any other game.
I don't know why people complain more about Arenas matchmaking, for me, it's the only playable mode as I said. I get to enjoy matches with and vs people around my level with a decent amount of dmg, while in BR I can't even shoot before dying against someone with at least 1000 hours more than me.
I'd hope this gets fixed in season 10 but it won't be since it's surely working as intended
