@SuperSletsenI keep hearing people saying they want stricter matchmaking in pubs. Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t that mean you want everyone winning at the same rate regardless of skill?
I’m already losing more than average— not because I am below average. But because I am above average (Masters) and pretty much only playing my equals or better in pubs. My pubs are absolutely ridiculous.
So unfortunately, I don’t really have that much sympathy for lower level players who hate occasionally running into a high skilled player; to win more than average you should have to be more than average.
I somewhat hate that I feel this way— because it sounds mean. I hate bullying and I hate players that want to exclusively pick on weaker players. But having everyone only play their doppelgänger isn’t the answer either for pubs. If a player is above average then their results should suggest that. But pursuing equal outcomes is a BAD idea for non-ranked video games.
