@Lord_Scorpion34 How was the movie other than the visuals? Reviews are mixed. Shang chi was one of the best marvel movies to date so it is following a good one.
@hayhor I haven't seen Shang Chi yet. The movie is good except for a few plot holes, but I don't know how it'll fit into the MCU. I think they should've introduced Galactus 1st tbh lol. Or the Watchers. There are a lot of classic Marvel stuff that we haven't seen yet. But since we are getting more into space now maybe we will who knows.
Loved that there are a lot action scenes in Shang Chi. They went with the Thanos Infinity War style of having the main story about the villain and not the protagonist. Only downside of the film is that I still hate Awkwafina and all her films since she just plays as herself.
- @Cheese9Man But Ryan Reynolds & The Rock just play themselves in every movie too 😂😂😂. And you could probably say the same for Kevin Hart. I don't mind her. Only seen like 3 things with her in it. It's nice to see a funny Asian female actor & Asians getting more roles in Hollywood.
I will say Eternals was the 1st movie that felt more Disney than Marvel. There's also a unnecessary love scene especially since it just raises more questions later on in the film lol.- @Lord_Scorpion34 Ryan Reynolds just plays as deadpool in all of his movies even as Pikachu. LOL! I guess some people just watch these films just for the actor and not the actual movie. I'm interested in Eternals since it's divisive film for a lot of people because of said questionable decisions. Will still watch it though since I'm in too deep to the MCU. lol.

Ok I finally saw it & its pretty good! I'd say it was still more about the main character. And Awkwafina wasn't bad in this one. Definitely a little more serious than other movies. But I need them to confirm if she's dude's girlfriend or not lol. I thought the special effects could be better. Def not as good as Eternals there. I also still don't like how they did the Mandarin & that Iron Man never got to face his main comic nemesis in the MCU. It's just another example of how Hollywood caters to China to make money.

I saw rumors that true reason why they didn’t make the Mandarin Chinese in Iron man 3 was to avoid insulting the CCP having a Chinese villain. I guess it’s okay now as long as the protagonist is also Chinese. They’re even putting Chinese actors awkwardly in some hollywood movies now just to get some of that Chinese money. 🤷♂️
