It's just another example of how Hollywood caters to China to make money.
This! LOL! I saw rumors that true reason why they didn’t make the Mandarin Chinese in Iron man 3 was to avoid insulting the CCP having a Chinese villain. I guess it’s okay now as long as the protagonist is also Chinese. They’re even putting Chinese actors awkwardly in some hollywood movies now just to get some of that Chinese money. 🤷♂️
@Cheese9Man They did the same with some of the Transformers movies. It's glaringly obvious which movies they do it with, especially if they plan to release the film in China. The Olympics they did it in 2008 when Taiwan had to compete under the name Chinese Taipei & had to fly a different flag as well.
