Useless thing that you've learnt?

What is a useless thing you have learnt. Can be anything. Apex or non apex related. E.g. Parabola's. Why do you need to know about a parabola?  I also learnt how to make a minigun in Minecraft. Now ...

Parabola related: for a given amount of energy, a 45 degree launch angle will achieve the greatest distance.

Less parabola related: the Saturn 5 rocket that got us to the moon had the equivalent of about 160 Million horsepower.
