Ash wasn't really ever a great character...sort of a good idea but bleh on the Titanfall execution. She's just to visually unfrightening to me, when really she's supposed to be creepy.
Having said that, just going by writing, it's not a bad way to go. After all, what's to say that Ash didn't last into the future? It's not like she aged. And even Blisk is still around, and conceptualized better.
So if it's Ash, I hope they do a better job graphically on her. Because she deserves an upgrade.
