I have 2/3 on 7 legends I think, never got the 3/3, but I never actually tried to force it 🙂. I got it in my 1st game on a smurf, so that's one way to get the big badges, but eh they don't feel good anyway, knowing that you got em vs beginners.
With SBMM, I wouldn't even bother ever even attempting the 20 badge in casual. Most of my games have 10+ predator trails and I'm just a lowly diamond... I had a chance in ranked this season, since after some inactivity I was put back to silver, but the inactivity also tanked my skill, so poof, no badges up to plat XD (but again, that's a good thing, since they would feel as empty as the smurf badges).
@Biochemikas Yea I never force it either, unless I’m at 2/3 and see an ‘easy’ 3/3 xD.
Yea I don’t wanna smurf it. I want to earn it honorably. It’s more for me to think back ‘yes I earned this!’ while also letting others see ‘this guy has skill & luck combined. The allfather favors him’ XD
I’m a lowly bronze :P so dont worry, I never do ranked. Every time I see more mountains and deer thinking we’re a stationary object than the hunters sent to kill them... yes... ranked is hardcore camping.

@Koochi-QFrom my recent experience (and before too), bronze-gold lobbies die really fast. It's uncommon to have more than 8-10 squads alive when 1st circle closes (so generally they're even faster than casual games XD). It starts to get more tactical in plat and in diamond you can see 15+ teams alive when 1st circle closes (i'm not diamond this season yet, so that one is old observation). Diamond is also the point where you start seeing some more wattsons (they're pretty much extinct in plat and below). At least that's how it is on PC.
P.S. As in any other game, ranked (or whatever mode that has something at stake, something to lose) is the only mode I can really play for days. Casual gets boring after a few hours.
P.P.S. You'd be in a tricky spot though, if you wanted to start ranked. Playing in bronze is the same as smurfing (although I saw a few predator trails in silver games, so maybe there's a bit more challenge still) XD.
- @Biochemikas Yea, but I dont do ranked so my conscious(?) is clear. I only do pubs. But I’m only playing atm since I’m a greedy bass who wants to max out BP for future when Apex is gonna get ‘good’ :P or else I’d have to pay for BP xD
- @Koochi-Q I started the same (well still 30 lvls to go), but quickly got hooked on hoarding rank points. XD
- @Biochemikas I started this monday? Or last weekend, but seeing that I wasn’t going for placement or wins, it took a while to get where I’m now (98).
But good news! My main goal (getting the 100 5-kill games on Rev) is complete :D yey. Now he’s officially christened my secondary main. If I cant pick bloodhound or don’t want him, it’s officially Rev’s turn to step up.
Now to wait for the 2 weeks worth of challenges and easily complete the BP Got my triple triple today 🙂. Was having some tough ranked games, so decided to play a KC trio. Result: 18 kills 3866 dmg game on wraith in a skulltown drop. My teammates had both 0 kills, but their help was great and I managed to keep them alive to the very end. In the almost last circle I respawned my third teammate and he was the one who revived both of us (I think our killer died to third party sniper) which resulted in me getting 5 more kills and the win. Teammates in pugs are also useful sometimes 🙂. They managed to keep up with me somehow, so that's a plus too, coz I was running all around like a headless chicken and they were the 2 fat boys.
So the triple triple did come as a consolation prize for not getting the big boy badges even though I wasn't even aware I'm close to 20 kills or 4k and was not going for it.
And then I was browsing other legends' badges and I found I have it on revenant too... And I have no idea when I got it on him (I have only 100 kills total on him) XD.
- @Biochemikas Congratz! With stats like that you should get it! It’s always KC! All my near gottens were in KC too. Oh well, I did my time so I can say I came close a several times... but that badge is just for better ppl ☹️
@CrazyPlays, nahhh I have honor in (multiplayer) games. That’s about the only interactive thing where I can say that I’m a true samurai! All other things I’m a ninja! I’m a shadow, a backstabber, a black hole filled with the calmness of a thousand suns ready to explode into the depths of nothing, crushing everything in it’s path into oblivion of the singularity’s eye... with some honor.
If I wanted to cheat my way into it I would have done it a long time ago with some gaming buddies. But oh well, I completed my objective of getting my money’s worth out of the BP so I’m leaving Apex until lots of stuff are fixed so I care very little about not having it now atm :P I’m very passionate. One moment I’m at 100 and the next I’m like ‘what? Ohh yea... nahhh’ ;D
