What causes the extremely high package loss?
Anyone ever found out why you sometimes randomly have a game with a packageloss of 40-80%? Its always just for one game, everything before and after if perfectly fine

@TheManiac2323 Are you sure something else in your house isnt taking over the connection briefly? I've seen some weird stuff when certain devices are doing things on my network.
@hayhor no, there is only my FireTV stick on it beside my PC and i dont think that one does randomly again and again block my whole bandwidth
@TheManiac2323 hmmmm, it could simply be congestion in your area if your premade isn't having any issues?
Idk, it's kinda hard to offer to a possible solution from this end. Playing hardwired should eliminate most of the PL at your end so it's gotta be an external issue.
Going to assume you've ran all the appropriate connection diagnosis checks etc?
- @MandatoryIDtag Why are people still making this a user issue when it's waves of players dealing with this after each update.
@Systemexe20Because there are lots of examples where it is a user issue.
For example, I have a 300 MB connection but when my ps5 downloads updates when I play I see huge ping and PL spikes. It also happens when my work laptop is trying to dump data into my network. Because these instances can be done in minutes it may only affect one game. There could be a device making things crazy. Your ISP may also be the problem. I've seen people switch ISPs and get much better results.
Some of us are just trying to help. If you dont have anything useful maybe find another thread.

It's obvious that the players cause this problems.
if Noone plays Apex there are no problems at all.
#bestSolutionForEA@Apyhs It's called process of elimination my dude, it's generally common sense to tackle any issue in this manner.
I don't work for EA, so I've got no reason to blindly defend them, however I do understand how packet loss works which is why I'm asking the OP these questions.
Like darth said it can be at both ends, so naturally if you do as much as you can to mitigate the issue at your own end it should at least improve things to certain a degree.
