Purely anecdotal: not only do I personally never pick one up anymore but I never even hear them in the game, and that sound is hard to miss. I have to think if anyone at all was using one then we'd hear it.

@reconzero I still see or hear 1 occasionally but I haven't been 3rd partied or killed by 1 like @hayhor 😂!
