I think this will make CAR and R-99 more ballanced with other SMGs or RE-45-HP, but it may bring the problem of Volt becoming absolutelly META.So I think we may receive some Volt nerf in Season 15 because of it.I cant really use R99 or CAR without barel mod more than at shotgun range. :DAre you still going to use R-99/CAR ?

@Awhoo_Thunder I've found I'm missing loads of shots with the volt so far tonight but I've also only got 1 kill in 6 games so far! Annoying

disapoinmted thats how i feel about them, according to Monkeysniper (youtube) all the smgs (except votl have had their spread increased by double, meaning that even with purple laser the base spread is far larger than base spread on stock weapon in season 13.Another great way to fluff loot with unecessary things, Respoawn just scoring them points once again. Theyu need to focus on the real issues at hand instead of the fluffy stuff.So any possible effect they have is kind of a placebo effect compared top season 13, dont like the implementation.

Those Laser Sights are a pretty pointless gimmick much like the ammo switchover for the Spitfire & Wingman.When I initially heard Laser Sights were going to be added in S14 I thought they were going to be similar to certain laser optic weapons in COD & other shoot em ups that have them where they will extend a laser onto it's target within a certain range.I just didn't envisage that their sole purpose was to improve hip-fire at the expense of making recoil when aiming down scopes worse.General hip-fire for the majority of weapons in Apex can be pretty bad & need improving in general but these Laser Sights aren't really the solution because if they did they would be extended the Assault Rifles & LMG's.Removing the Barrel Mods from SMG's is just another means of worsening recoil of weapons for all us honest players who don't use cheats,hacks,Strike Packs & all other means to game those advantages as it probably won't make a scrap of difference to them.

@Awhoo_Thunder I'm actually excited to try out the laser sights. I was iffy on it, until they clarified that the laser will only be visible to your own team. I am perfectly fine with using any of the SMG's on Apex, to be honest. It mostly just depends on my vibe that day. Definitely excited to have the Volt back on the floor though!

@Awhoo_Thunder Volt will basically be the r301 of smgs if you normally use smgs at a range you shouldn't.

Well Im taking it back. CAR is still the best and much easier to hit enemies with.
It looks like Volt has 0 recoil in Firing range,
but I just cant hit with it in game at all...
Volt has something weird in it and I cant explain what it is,
maybe Im just used to recoil so I cant even hit when there is none ?
I dont really know whats going on here... :D

Volt feels ok but I can no longer shred w the R99 at 50M that's for sure. But that was the whole point, right?

@Awhoo_Thunder Volt has the same exact stats it did pre-CP except fir the barrel. It doesn't need a nerf.

Yeah it doesnt need NERF, CAR is still better.
And as I said, I just cant hit anything with Volt,
dont even know why.

I can somehow use CAR, just not at midrange. It has better recoil for me than Volt has. :D

@Awhoo_Thunder for close work the volt was like a scattergun 😃 car with gold heavy mag is very tasty, esp when followed by a Spitfire.
