exactly, the cheaters are literally miles ahead of anyone at respawn, its almost like respawn is selling the cheats themselves to make more profit
The reality is that the exploits for gaming are 10 years ahead of detection software. Cheating is adversarial so a cheat is made then a solution then a workaround and it goes solution, workaround, solution, workaround. That's the nature of it, there is no all powerful anti cheat software, and even a permanent ban isn't just the end of the cycle.

I think most people get this logic and noone is really aiming for 100% cheater free games at this point.
But what Apex is known for - lack of "solutions" or regarding Predator list total ignorance of cheaters if they bring "value" to the game.
Say there are no surprises that CS2 or Valorant has cheaters in the game and that even top tier players get caught cheating time to time, but in both of those games cheaters are "trapped" in Tier 2 or lower levels, people kinda know about where to look for them while ranked feels kinda legit and so does Tier 1 teams.
Apex...cheaters roaming Gold level lobbies and extend to Tier 1 lan events, raw-models of the game are far from being legit / transparent, people who report "wrong" players get banned / removed from opportunity to voice their opinions. E.g. I had very sus clip of Tier 1 pro -> reached out to the org via their stated contact page -> didn't even get "thanks, we received your complaint" message. Basically noone gave a flying f about possible Tier 1 pro cheating: no reply in ban command center discord, no reply in ticketing system on the web, no reply from org themselves.
In the world where people care about their image, org image I would get explanation regarding how possible cheating situation was / how accurate my report is etc. In Apex people just know that you can ignore stuff like that and moments later people focus will shift to yet another crappy skin discussion or unfair random ban :) so little to none work needs to be done catching cheaters that just decrease number of active players and "waste" company's resources.
Recipe for success is long known:- clear communication of what is possible mechanically and what are cheats (Zeus on YT does a good job explaining this time to time with clear examples, while Respawn has 0 info on the topic, rest of the Respawn sponsored influencers talk only about skins and patch notes instead).
- active team of trusted mods that manually ban people on daily basis
- mass automated solution for bot farms and repetitive offenders
- transparent stats tracker like in valorant or cs so that players themselves can see sus player's performance to determine how probable is the fact they are cheating -> report / not report
- ip bans
Company seem to make a good amount of money yet there are like 1-3? active ban hammer people in the game (or so it seems) despite the fact that game has millions of users, hundred thousand active players and 7+ years of experience / existence.
