Apex forever.
- @Asmodeus566 Sorry to hear
What do you mean by that?
Don't feel sorry for me for enjoying something.
I am enjoying the game since day one.
As long as I am having fun, then that is what really counts to me as far as whether or not I play the game.
If something is not fun they why keep doing it. To each their own.

- AymCTL9 months agoSeasoned Ace@zoludwo2 I haven't completely given up on apex yet since I am still holding out hope for them to fix the game, but I only play a bot royale match and enough pubs to get the first two battle pass goals for the day. I sometimes warm up on a tdm if one is available. I used to play for 4 hours each night before the hit reg got this bad.
The FPS games I play now are Farlight 84, Star Wars Hunters, Snowbreak, and occasionally Overwatch 2.
I also still keep up with my gacha JRPGs, usually just getting login rewards and only advancing the story or playing seriously once per month on each of them. Epic Seven, Honkai Star Rail, Another Eden, Memento Mori, and Octopath Traveler are my favorites.
If Apex gets a fix eventually I'll probably back off on some of those fps games and go back to apex more exclusively. Apex does not need to die for me to play other games.
At the moment I am done for the Apex season and recently been playing OW2, Different slow paced puzzle/brain games, Settlers 2, Crab Champions, Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, The Long Dark as the games that I always kinda come back to do a "run". I guess Apex is one of those games (unless it really dies = servers get taken down).
Every now and then I also pick up some discount single player story game that I push through and never come back to (RDR2, Assassins Creeds, Titanfall games, Star Wars games etc.)- reconzero9 months agoSeasoned Ace@zoludwo2
I've built up enough defense mechanisms so that I can probably tough it out no matter how dysfunctional the matchmaking or the player base may get. And I'm one of those people who invest so much time trying to learn a game that I'm very reluctant to walk away, and I dread the hellacious learning curve of whatever title I might try next. Gone are the days of the "easy to learn" game. If there ever was such a thing. I forget.
So yeah, Apex forever, with maybe only a little less enthusiasm than @Asmodeus566 @reconzero Et. All,
Yes I am an Apex enthusiast but I also play other games, Baldurs gate 1, 2 and 3, battlefield and Valheim to name a few. Not to forget I also play IRL fast and slow pitch softball, Airsoft, as well as canoeing and hiking.
so it is not like I no life Apex.
I have been working on my Seam library backlog. 🙂
Apex is a really good game, but it has two major problems that need to be addressed IMO, and if not the player base is just going to continue to decline.
1. It's just plagued with cheaters. It's never been worse.
2. SBMM. If you're not getting killed by a cheating squad, it's from a stacked squad beyond your skill level. If you've played a while, even as a casual you'll too often see Preds.
All the other changes are irrelevant until these things are fixed.

I still play Apex and I really don't know why because it is absolute trash right now. Aside from that Baldur's Gate 3 is the best RPG of all time. Have loved playing through that.
