Why am I playing against 10,000 kills when im still a newbie?

1) Afaik there IS a new player matchmaking rule in place (it used to be something like lvl1-20, no more; anything above goes into the main pool), but it might be ignored if there are simply not enough players to fill the lobby.
2) Casual MMR is very loose and fluctuates greatly. You get good game - you play with much better players next game, you get 1-2 really bad games - you can go back all the way to the bottom in no time.

Still, to be put into "predator" lobbies after just a few games, you'd need to pull at least one or two 3k+ damage 10+ kill wins. If you're actually slaying like that, why do you think you belong in those "noob" lobbies?
And if you got 1 great game by accident, no worries - you get destroyed in a couple of games with 0 damage and you're back in average-town.

P.S. Kills <> skill. Some1 with 10k kills could still be a hardstuck silver player (and there's nothing wrong with that; and I'm also sure that player is glad he's not matched with predator players just because he played a lot - THAT would be unfair). Don't judge your opposition by just how long they have played.

what is kdr 1?

i dontt know the term, i just bought this ps4 and apex with it.

@Ticklemytony KDR is your Kill to death ratio. You can find that by clicking on your name when you're in a lobby. It will show you your average damage and KD.

If you have a KD above 1 you're doing better than the majority of players in Apex. Most players have KD's in the .80 to 1 range, meaning they get 1 kill for every time they die.

If your average damage is above I'd 300 or so you're probably doing better than most. Last time I looked my KD was 1.18 and my average damage was bouncing between 380 and 430. That has put me into the top tier lobbies, there are typically a few Master and Predator trails coming out of the drop ship. Just to give an idea of how difficult that is to maintain, I have to do at least 370 damage a round and get at least one kill every match. If I have 3 matches in a row in which I get killed on drop, that means the 4th match I have to post a 1200+ damage game and get at least 3 kills.  It's very hard to maintain a positive KD because in order for you to do that you must kill at least 1 person every match, to go into the positives on it you have kill more than one person every match you play. 

Just because they have 10,000 kills does not mean they are a better player than you. Having 10,000 kills simply means they play the game more (a lot more) and have stacked up more kills. You probably have killed them in game, the issue is you often don't realize it. But when they kill you, you know it because you see their banner in the death report.

If you're getting melted in those lobbies SBMM will drop you down into a low tier that's more on par for your skill level.

Now , no wonder then why am being matched with freaking preds filling my lobby ☹️,I pushed my KD to 1.60 going to 1.68 sometimes and damage almost to 500 with in 1k matches played .

But it's still not fair as am sure these guys will be having 5 + KD as minimum
