Why do iron sights zoom in further than a 1x sight?
Was this something planned? Is it to make you consider using irons because you get some zoom?

@hayhor Wasn't this since day 1 ? I always assumed scopes on a gun either meant better magnification, or vision upgrade "night vision, thermal etc."
- @jaygates879 Yes but I was just wondering why iron sights zoom at all? It doesn't work that way with guns I've used IRL.
@hayhor My bad, misread as sights in general.
It's only on assault rifles. I think its a holdover from TF2.
