Why do you think Valkyrie is a good addition to the game?
I have my own opinions, obviously, but why do you think she is a good addition to Apex?

In my opinion, it seems a little off to have characters that are able to reach ridiculous heights at any given moment to avoid a fight others are not capable of doing.
Like say, having one UFC fighter that is allowed to use steroids while the rest cannot. Or one Nhl goalie "cough cough" Garth Snow - that would say, be allowed to wear well over sized goalie pads to defend his net while every other goalie is forced to use the standard size Lol.
Don't get me started with Seer and his passive 24/7 free unlimited wallhack, that is a whole other level of national lamboonary.
All in all, she is a cool character, looks good, is fun to use, just for me she seems like she does not belong in Apex. Nobody should be able to abort an entire team to the other side of a map, while my lifeline has to run for the nearest cover and heal up - hoping Seer isn't looking at me from 250 meters away ping spamming his teammates. : )
@NickBeam27I agree. And this is the reason I don't play her nor will I play with a pre made that uses her. Her abilities feels like its a little bit of a "cheap" win for lack of a better word. Every time we corner a team on Storm Point with a Valk on their team they just end up flying away. Every time.
- @Sand_spitter Yeah the ult timer is too short. When I no fill trios I run valk or octane because I know I can typically get away with them if things get bad. The amount of times I've been low health low shield, got to a rock and ultd to the other end of the map is quite many. It would frustrate me if I was the one chasing.
- @hayhor Aside from the ult, her fuel never seems to run dry, she can take high ground and shortcuts non-stop basically. But the main thing that boils my blood are those missiles she fires. Every time I go down to a Valk it's because she spammed those things and while they do very little damage I can't see what I'm shooting at and can't move either and her teammates just pick me off. Every time. And SP just makes it so much worse because of all the visual clutter.
- @Sand_spitter Her missiles should be removed and her flying should be her tactical, so she actually has a real cooldown between flying. Or she should just fall to the ground if she's shot while flying.

I agree, she has too much stuff, and seeing she already has the mobility going for her anyway she should be focused in such a way only.

She DOES have a cooldown when flying. There is a fuel limit, and a minimum fuel to ignite the rockets.They increased the minimum fuel once since launch, and I could see the argument that it needs to be increased again because smart players feather that to be harder to shoot when taking high ground. But as noted elsewhere she's vulnerable when flying compared to every other movement character's methods where they can usually shoot.
The missiles are a tactical, by definition. They are technically worse off than the knuckle cluster. I'd argue instead that Bang and Gibby's ults need to do more damage, because they are too low compared to this tactical, which a much larger charge time. If you're not moving out of them when they are telegraphed, that's on you. You should not be pushing when blind.
The problem is, she has an overloaded kit, being both an Attacker and a Scout. Lore wise, and primary parts of kit, she's an Attacker. I think all Scout related perks should be removed from her. Done. Simple. Fixed. No more free skyward dive to avoid fights and get to next ring. You NEED to work with another scout.

- @Kyldenar Her tactical does like 20 or 25 damage. Anyone good with cover sits there and starts popping a cell when the indicators first show up. The people dying to the tactical are either in terrible spots or panicking and getting shot. Actually when a valk moves out to use it just shoot at her and when she ducks behind cover she will probably hit herself. I do this quite often lol
- @hayhor It's not really the damage but the stun. You can't be behind cover all the time especially when you're trying to push up to a team or even just change locations. It works perfectly with her flying ability too as she gives herself high ground pretty much all the time, a little too easy imo too. I mean every character that has some movement ability needs some sort of skill or aim or whatever when they want to taker high ground but she literally just "walks in the air" to get there. Like top of a rock or roof or whatever..you fall off, oh just press the button some more and get back up. And even if you are behind cover she and her teammates can just flank you, in fact she will prob flank from above anyway and teammates from the sides. But yeah, it's not really important - like Kyldenar said, she shouldn't actually be both scout and attack, either one or the other.
- @Kyldenar No, Valk should, as I said. But they can just remove the missiles and make her passive her tac. Or delete her from the game. I'm open to several options.
- @Sand_spitter Haha, that is my exact strategy with Seer. I will never play with a Seer on my team. I back out every time. "Cheap" is the best word in Seer's case. I refuse to win that way.
- @NickBeam27 I don't think I've even played 1 match as him. He's just..strange. But I totally get it.
- @CCbathwater They will never delete her, her skins make too much money. They will never make her passive tac as it's the only passive that has a hard limit (fuel) and needs manual activation.

The only thing that MIGHT happen is they finally remove her Scout abilities and make her an Attacker, like they should have in the first place. @Kyldenar Absolutely agree with you on this one. Another thing about Valk that not a lot of people didn’t know is that she’s the only scan legend where the enemy is not notified if they were scanned by her ult.
@Sand_spitter Valk probably is the most powerful and important legend right now in the game especially in Storm Point. Sorry if these were mentioned here already (didn’t read all of the replies)
1. Decrease the gas on her passive or make them refill longer. I was so pissed chasing down this valk up and down in this building as a non-mobility legend.
2. Ult’s cooldown should be the same as the Gibby/Lifeline ult or more. It’s just too powerful.
3. Remove all scan abilities just like what @Kyldenar said.
4. The tactical is fine. Strong but not OP. However, I want Ash’s tactical to be as strong as Valk’s.
She’s still a good addition to the game but definitely needs huge nerfs. The only nerf she received was she can’t spin while launching and an indirect nerf of her unable to use her abilities on top of mountains.

I play a fair amount of Valk, and I have also spent a fair amount of time learning how to kill her (or be killed as her). To this point:
1) While there are disagreements by how much, I can confirm that a LOT of that jetpack is part of her hitbox. Trying to shoot her head on/from behind in the air can be hard (in particular if they know to feather the boosters) but from the side (in particular with a shotgun) is much easier. Try to flank her (Peacekeeper or Mastif from the side with her is like shooting clays).

2) Don't bother trying to chase in urban environments. That's part of the game. Getting YOU to chase her like a rabbit hound while her allies flank you or you get 3rd partied. Gather up, re-group, make her come to you. Yeah, she has that mobility advantage in urban OUTDOORS, but being indoors essentially shuts down her tactical and passive. (The same can be said for Horizon and Pathfinder here, but really notable on Valk)
2.5) If you can, make her chase you out into the open. Without tall things to fly around, a Valk in the air is a sporting clay (Path and Horizon win here due to speed of their movement options). There is a reason what when I am in open areas with little tall cover I RUN from cover to cover rather than fly. Flight is limited to about walking speed with short distance bursts of faster speed if they feather the jets. And if they are doing that, well, there will be a pattern similar to a wave form that you can lead and shoot. (I suck at the shooting part, and if I can 50/50 headshot Valk with a 30-30, so can you. Try and shoot on the up-curve of the wave so if you miss the headshot it's still a body.)
Other pro-tip: Once you cracked her shields, flinch applies to in air movement and missile targeting too.
3) Revenant. If you really hate her, play Rev. Nothing more fun that watching her drop from the sky or jumping like a panicked rabbit when she's been silenced wondering why she can't fly now.
4) Remember, other than her missiles she CAN'T fight back in the air. No guns. If she's flying, she's not shooting at you in a way that you can't clearly see marked on the ground. If she's just used it, she's not using it again for 20-30 seconds. If she's flying, use that time to reposition without getting shot at by her. Anticipate where they might go and flank that position. - @Cheese9Man Actually they nerfed her jet fuel early on.

I think they still need to disallow the feathering the jets part. You can't shoot, but you can re-engage the jets before the hand animation is done.
Frankly, I would be ok with them halving the fuel reserves, yet making flight running speed. It takes speed to maintain flight, in particular with wings that short.- @Sand_spitter I haven't even unlocked him yet. I won't. I boycott that mess of an idea.
