Why does my gun reload after one shot with full mag

I play on Xbox and, In apex legends my weapon reloads after shooting a single bullet, and is causing me to lose gunfights, how can i fix this. This is also happening on different controllers in game and the firing range too.

    @TARIKU-5 i know there was a hack on PC where the hacker force their opponent's gun to reload after the first shot but never saw it on console.
    I'm on console myself and never encounter such a thing, it's interesting if it's a hack but i don't think so, it might be a bug but then it's more interesting of how some players can get affected by a bug while others don't even when playing the same game on the same platform and same console.

    Are you sure the gun has been reloaded? I know I have the issue with accidentally canceling the reload because I'll start running or something.

    @maximas1986He might be playing Mixtape, where you get subjected to Tufi's Latter Day Disciples. 😏

    And that's nothing new. How some get affected by a bug while others don't. I had the randomly "stop you from running" bug back in season... 6? 5? Nvm. Most people didn't get affected by it. Whereas I wasn't affected by the lvl 1 bug a handful of seasons ago.

    @CCbathwater it's a very deep rabbit hole, if I think about it then there will be a lot of questions.
    how can I know that I'm affected by a bug that can cause poor connection that put me at a disadvantage (as an example).
    that will destroy the competitive integrity which we barely have any of it.
    maybe that's why my game feels so slow even running feels like something is pulling me back like I'm stuck in the mud (another example)
    but what can someone say, it's Apex Legends?
    this game will become an example someday when someone wants to describe another game.
    "oh shhh, this game feels like apex legends, DELETE "

    @TARIKU-5What mode are you playing when it happens? I assume mix tape which is mixed lobbies right now. This is exactly why I do not want mixed lobbies.
